Tribute Funds
Four Tribute Funds have been established by Portland Section members
in memory of their loved ones who were active members of Portland Section,
NCJW. Section members make donations to these funds on their
birthdays, and can also contribute memorial and honorary tributes.
The funds and some of their recent distributions
are: |
The Minnie F. Ehrman Fund for Medical and Dental Care
A woman with a chronic illness who can not otherwise read or
watch movies was provided with new glasses.
An elderly woman from Russia will be the beneficiary of our
funds to help pay for her dentures.
A young orphan will get a full dental check-up and money for
fillings or other work.

The Jean Rustin Fund for Children and Youth
A widow will receive help with food, clothing and educational
toys and books for her daughter.
Another family who recently moved to the U.S. will get help
paying for books and tapes, as well as clothing and food for
their children.

The Dorothy Asher Memorial Fund for Senior Cultural
Programs
An elderly woman who fell in her home and cannot get around
will use the money for home care.

Marion Quint Rose Fund
For Widow/Widower Support Services.
